How the site is funded today
The site currently uses Vultr affiliate and referral links. A qualifying signup or purchase may earn us a commission or referral reward. Vultr is the only provider listed in the directory at this stage. Our coverage is therefore a focused starting point, not a comparison of the entire hosting market.
Provider links are marked for search engines as sponsored, with disclosures near recommendations and in the footer. Our affiliate disclosure explains the two supplied referral arrangements and the conditions visitors should check directly on Vultr.
Display advertising is currently disabled
There are no display-ad placements or Google AdSense ad requests in the current site implementation. If display advertising is introduced, this page and the privacy and cookie policies will be updated to reflect the actual services and choices in use.
An ownership-verification tag or an authorised-seller record, if configured, identifies the publisher account. It does not mean adverts are being served or that Google has approved the site.
Keep advertisements distinct from guidance
Our approach is to keep editorial content, provider recommendations and any future display adverts recognisable as different things. Display adverts should be labelled and should not imitate navigation, download buttons, support messages or the results of a planning tool.
We do not ask visitors to click adverts to support the site, reward ad clicks or suggest that an advertiser’s offer is a required step in using a guide. Reading and tool interactions should remain usable without an ad click.
Advertising is not an endorsement
An automatically selected advert would be an advertiser’s message, rather than an editorial recommendation from the directory. Visitors should check any advertiser’s terms, privacy practices and product claims independently.
Affiliate relationships are also distinct from technical evidence. We do not offer paid performance scores or guarantees of positive editorial coverage. A commercial relationship does not turn a documentation summary into a first-hand server test.
Responsible recommendations
We explain responsibilities and limitations, including when self-managed hosting may be a poor fit. The hosting checker can suggest a managed service even though Vultr is our only listed provider.
